Heatset
Heatset printing rapidly dries ink with intensely heated forced air and a cold roller section. This allows us to print on slick paper stocks such as supercalendered (smooth, high-shine, bright) and coated (high-gloss). Heatset printing at BNP creates crisp, empowered images and messages and is ideal for longer runs.
Coldset
Coldset printing is a process by which the ink dries gradually through evaporation and absorption into the paper. This makes it mandatory to use absorbent sheets of paper such as newsprint, hi-bright newsprint, and 50# offset (such as copy machine paper). BNP recommends coldset presses for shorter runs.
